Marijuana Possession

Did you know that the typical person in prison for marijuana "possession" was caught with over 100 pounds of the substance?!

We need to bring that number down at least 99%. Make that 99.9%. Anyone with so much as an ounce of that stuff should be doing hard labor.

But as it is right now, hardly any Americans are behind bars for actual marijuana cosession--notwithstanding what we've been told by millions of liberal sons of bitches.

Drug dealers often plead guilty to possession as part of a plea bargain--and in those cases, "possession" results in prison time. In other words, even though the defendant is clearly guilty of selling / distributing marijuana, the courts give him the option of simply accepting a lesser charge of possession--and that way, he gets a reduced sentence and the state saves time and money.

Or sometimes criminals are charged with a non drug related crime along with possession--and although technically they might end up doing time for both crimes, the marijuana charge will not affect their actual sentence. Marijuana supporters will whine about how they're in prison for having a few ounces of marijuana--when in fact, the marijuana didn't result in more jail time.

People are doing time for a variety crimes under the cloak of possession.

But people who merely get caught with a few ounces often get off scot-free, or end up with a fine and/or probation--especially if they have a clean record.

We need to start going after the people with a few ounces, one ounce, or even a hundredth of an ounce. (By the way--I refuse to use communist units of measurement like grams. Anyone who uses the metric system should also be doing hard labor, right next to all stoners, soccer players, and ___).

But as it is right now, the government usually goes out of its way to avoid putting marijuana users in prison. Why? Probably because of this son of a bitch:
