George W. Bush

George W. Bush had the highest and lowest approval ratings ever--but when it came to personality, he was amazing.

Obama's OK, too--but this sums up a lot for him. "I need to do whatever I can to get reelected. I have to present a certain image to the American people. They want this Barack Obama, and not that Barack Obama. They want a Barack Obama who's for gay rights, but against gay marriage. They want an Obama who's against the war, but for sending troops to Afghanistan. They want an Obama who's kind of a Christian, but not too much of a Christian."

But Bush just walked in the White House in 2001 and said "I don't even give a f--k! I'm just going to do whatever the hell I want."

He ran around flicking off video cameras and giving world leaders back rubs. And he even had the White House airlifted to Texas, next to Hank Hill and Boomhauer. "1600 Pennsylvania my ass!"

And what about the time a heckler ripped all over him about the Patriot Act? The Secret Service said, "Mr. President--do you want us to take that guy out back and beat the crap out of him?" And Bush replied, "No--it's all good. Let him say whatever he wants. And let's invite him over to the White House when he's done. We can go horseback riding or watch Wayne's World."

Do you think Barack Obama would invite Glenn Beck over to watch Wayne's World? I doubt it. He'd say something like, "Don't let that son of a bitch within 100 yards of my property. I want to watch Watyne's World alone or with some liberals."

Oh--and how about the time Bush had a White House Dinner, and they asked him, "Who do you want as your special guest speaker? Bob Hope? Jackie Gleason?" And he said, "No--bring over Stephen Colbert." And then Colbert came over and started ripping on Bush--and Bush just sat back smoking a blunt, and said, "Whatever, dude." And Colbert thought, "What the hell is going on here? This is isn't working." And then I'll bet Bush invited him over to watch Wayne's World.

Opinions vary when it comes to the greatest President ever. A lot of people think Lincoln was the best. But that's subjective. You don't know the effect a President had on the country or world. And maybe Lincoln could've freed the slaves without causing a Civil War. He could've worked out a compromise. He could've marched in to Georgia and said, "If you guys free the slaves, we'll bring back The Duke's of Hazzard for another 15 seasons." And all of those Southerners would've said, "You've got yourself a deal, Yankee."

But when it comes to personality, George W. Bush is number one. If he were to run again on some sort of Constitutional loophole, I'll bet plenty of Bush hating liberals would vote for him.
