I can't even begin to tell you how many people I've come across who think gay marriage should be illegal. People like this son of a bitch.
People like that don't give a shit about rights and fairness. It's not enough for them to have their own freedoms--they feel like a line has been crossed if someone else does something they don't like.
If it were up to me, that motherfuckering page would be removed from the Dawkinsdamn internet, and the person behind it would be behind bars getting ass raped.
Laws that don't allow same sex marriage have absolutely no place in a free and fair society.
But simply allowing homosexuals to marry each other really isn't enough. We should force everyone to marry someone of the same sex, and remain in that marriage for at least a year.
Why?
Well--for starters, some people might not know they're gay unless they spend some time in a homosexual relationship. I mean, that was more or less the point of Green Eggs and Ham--unless you think Dr. Seuss was a homophobe.
And even more importantly, mandatory same sex marriages will right past wrongs and create a fair environment for homosexuals. Allowing people to not marry a member of the same sex is comparable to giving every non-black person in the country some sort of 40 acre and mule tax benefit.
