Betty White is pretty popular right now. I'm not so sure I like that trend. Don't get me wrong--I like Betty White as much as the next guy. I've seen every single episdoe of Golden Girls. (Except for the one where Blanche becomes a drug dealer. I got to ses that one.) But how come all of a sudden, Betty White's cool? Just because. Like someone announced, "Betty White's cool now."
Are we into doing random things nowadays? Is that what it's come to? What's next? Is someone going to say, "Popcorn's cool now. Everyone eat popcorn!"
Popcorn might replace Betty White pretty soon. They'll be a sitcom featuring some Jiffy Pop.
We should watch Golden Girls for the right reason. Because we're stoned. Not because it's trendy.
